This started out as the beginning for a longer story, but I am unsure if I want to do that.

So. I broke down and got a paid account. I couldn't take it anymore!

I also installed this lovely new moodtheme by _creations_.

So, I am getting some new friends- well, the only friends I have on this journal so far, from the HIMYM friending meme. Hi! I guess I should just introduce myself a little.

I am Ariel, and this is the fandom journal I created tonight! Ha. I just didn't want to bog down my other journal with fandom stuff, and I am a little self-conscious of my RL friends reading what I write. So this is a good solution. Except my other account is paid, so I keep going to edit my comments and then I am devastated when I can't. I can't have two paid accounts, though! That's...that's ridiculous...

I am 19 years old. I am in college, and tomorrow I have my last final of the semester (American Government) and then I have four glorious months of summer! I plan to spend it swimming in my pool! I moved last fall and have a pool this year for the first time ever and am sufficiently thrilled.

I started writing a fic after I watched "The Goat" tonight. I probably will groom it and pick at it until it's perfect...or until I get impatient and post it anyway! It's hopefully multi-chaptered and it's working title is Washcloth.

Well.

That didn't turn out how I wanted, but there is still tons of wiggle room. Plus, it was a great episode. The ending just...well, I have a feeling they're trying to just get our goa-um, fake us out.

I am working with said wiggle room, though, as I pen my first How I Met Your Mother fic right this very second!

Okay, so. New fandom journal. Whooo. I haven't been involved in any kind of fandom since I was probably around 15 or 16. We'll see how this works out! I'll have plenty of time, though, because my last final is TOMORROW. YES. Four glorious summer months await.

Ahhh, fifteen minutes until new, post-Barney/Robin hookup HIMYM!!! Can I be more excited? I've spoiled myself silly, though.
